Stephen Frazier's wind problem
During the whole of World News at 1300 gmt today, live from Atlanta, there was a steady breeze audible from Stephen Frazier's microphone. Surprisingly, nothing was done to prevent this distracting noise throughout the programme. There is a portable fan around the desk at the CNNI Atlanta set (usually under the desk) - presumably the microphone was picking up a breeze from that.
Aside, CNNI might want to invest in a quieter printer for the Atlanta set. There is a laserjet printer behind the anchor desk, which is quite often in use on-air. It is usually clearly audible in the background, working away!
