CNN International Chief Snares Expanded Role

TV Newser has the details of CNN's move to assign management of their Domestic and International Desks to CNN International boss Tony Maddox. He will also assume management of CNN's 13 domestic bureaus from January 1, 2011.
In a memo to staff this afternoon, CNN/U.S. chief Ken Jautz and CNN International chief Tony Maddox announced a new reporting structure for the domestic and international desks and bureaus as of January 1, 2011.

A spokesperson for CNN says the changes will not result in any layoffs.
According to TV Newser, David Bohrman retains the leadership of CNN’s Washington DC bureau, and will continue to report to Ken Jautz.
