Weekly Observations - week ending May 7, 2011

This is our weekly round-up of the tidbits that didn't make it to a post of their own, but are worth noting, along with news items that we've covered that may need a second look.

- Robin Meade co-hosts the Music Builds: CMT Disaster Relief Concert this Thursday at 9 PM ET on CMT and CMT.com. Robin's new album Brand New Day hit Target stores and iTunes this June. Check out the cover art below:

- Anchor and Special Correspondent Soledad O'Brien co-hosted CBS' The Talk this week. (US Only Video)

- At CNN, scrambling to prepare for an unknown story.

- Rick Sanchez hopes to be chosen person in L.A.

- TVNewser has the details of CNN disbanding their New York-based Graphics Department.

- An update on 2008 Top 10 CNN Hero Tad Agoglia.

- Luis Carlos Velez debuted as co-host on CNN International's World Business Today on Friday. You can see an aircheck of that program in the video here.

- Demi Moore contributes to CNN documentary on Nepal's stolen children.

- In a clear swipe at Fox News (who earlier got Reuters and Associated Press offside by placing restrictions on photographs and video of their debates) CNN announced it will make its Presidential Debate footage available without restrictions.
