CNN Crew Comes Under Fire In Libya

A CNN crew, including correspondent Phil Black and producer Ian Lee, was caught up in an attack in Sitre, Libya over the weekend.

The CNN team was traveling with other journalists and Libyan revolutionary fighters when the convoy came under attack on Saturday.

CNN says the convoy started taking small arms fire, followed by two rocket-propelled grenades, after a Libyan revolutionary fighter started firing towards suspicious movement he spotted in the distance.

Ian Lee received a shrapnel wound to his ankle, but CNN reports the producer was in good spirits and had spoken to his family following treatment. A paramedic traveling with the convoy died during the attack.

Watch Phil Black's dramatic report below.
